Aberdeen’s latest start-up company, Granite Occupational Health, announce expansion plans within their first month of operations.

Dynamic duo Jen McHugh and Monica Walker launched the occupational health company last week after a combined total of 15 years working within the industry and have already began expanding their team. Since the company launched, the Granite Occupational Health team have expanded into Inverness and are currently searching for a doctor to join their team.

Granite OH offers occupational health medicals, assessments, screenings and consultations to companies throughout the North East, Inverness and the Highlands.

Jen McHugh, Business Manager and co-founder of Granite Occupational Health commented, “The aim of Granite OH is to provide a high-quality, cost-effective and flexible occupational health service.

When working for other companies both Monica and myself have found that the larger the organisation is the harder it is to provide a personal service to your customer. Our aim is to be as flexible to our customers’ needs as possible.”

In addition to their new-found success, Granite Occupational Health have signed a 14-month lease with serviced office provider BlueSky Business Space.

Jen continues, “Moving to BlueSky Business Space is the right choice for the business. Having the option to expand our space as our business grows without having to deal with the hassles of moving offices is great!”
