BlueSky and Original 106 team up to offer £20,000 of business support and office space prize

Dave McAllan, Director at Original 106 comments, “Aberdeen has faced it’s challenges over the last 18 months and it’s important we work together, supporting local businesses as much as possible. Both Original 106 and BlueSky Business Space operate under the same ethos of employ local, buy local, sell local and have decided it’s time to give back to the community.”
The competition will run until the start of July and 3 lucky finalists will be invited to present to BlueSky’s board of directors in true Dragon’s Den style in the hopes of winning the business support.

Dave McAllan continues, “We are delighted to be working with BlueSky Business Space on this project. We’d love to hear from all organisations, from start ups to established companies looking for some extra support. All we ask is that they visit the website and tell us why they deserve our support.”

As well as benefiting from support in the form of IT, marketing and design and business mentoring, the successful applicant will be provided with a fully furnished office within their city centre property, complete with free internet connection and telephone access, ready to ‘plug and play’ without spending a penny.

Gordon Middleton, Financial Director of BlueSky, “The expense of launching a new venture is often seen as a great risk to individuals in normal circumstances but with the money being spent within Aberdeen at an all-time low, the risk levels are seen as significantly higher. Our aim is to give a helping hand to a deserving company.”
